History

Sweeney Barn began its history circa 1939 as a one-story dairy barn with a hayloft. Owned by the Birkett family, the barn originally housed cows waiting to be milked as Prince William County’s dairy industry boomed in the early 20th century.

I hired Mike Garcia Construction on a commercial specialty project which involved the renovation of an 80 year old dairy barn and converted it to a fully building code compliant Event center. This was a very complicated construction project, a first for the local jurisdiction and MGC made everything look so easy. They were efficient, professional and courteous and whenever there were any issues they got them taken care of very quickly. What impressed me the most on the project was that we had the most rainfall since the mid 1800's and we still completed the project on time and on budget. That is just miraculous. I highly recommend this company and I look forward to our next project together. 5 star company that truly care about the finished product and it shows.
